Today our class was learning how to use Google Earth to fly to different world cities and find out their population.  We are collating our data on Google Sheets and learning how to insert out data into a table. A Day And A Half Learning About The Marae And Matariki.

Well on the 20th of june 2018 room 3, room 4, room 5 went to a marae noho A wonderful marae named Kohewhata. We were very lucky to go

to Kohewhata because we got to learn how to cook yum things and

We learnt about Matariki.

Well, as i was saying we were at Kohewhata

Marae, so lets get started with the story. Last thursday some of Tautoro       school Went to Kohewhata for the marae noho. As everyone was getting all there things We had to put all the bags in
the bus.

As we were driving we arrived at Kohewhata marae. The marae looked so awesome, how do i know, well it’s because  i had been to the marae before. When we had finished doing everything we got called on to the marae. When we were finished in the marae we had to go to the kitchen to have a kai, do you want to know why we have a kai after the powhiri? Well it's so the kai can nourish our bodies and take away the tapu from the powhiri.

On the very next day at Kohewhata marae we were told to wake up

at 6am in the morning so we would start to prep lunch/breakfast.

At around 7 or 8am all the year 7´s and down.

What i thought was challenging was when i had to write the name and trying to put the head on the snowman.

But what was fun was we were able to learn new things and create new things.

I believe that dogs are better than cats why well

You’ve probably been asking yourself is dogs better than cats

Well thats why i’m here so i can tell you yes dogs are better than

cats.

One of my reasons why dogs are better than cats is because a  
dog can be trained more easily than a cat. You can easily teach dogs so
that they do not hurt themselves or others and you can also teach them
how to do cool tricks.
But also dogs can watch over your house if anyone tries to rob it.

My second reason why i think  dogs are better than cats is because

if your house is being robbed from someone

Your dog will catch the person robbing your house but the

Cat wont do anything so would you rather have a dog or a cat?
well that's why i think dogs are better than cats.

Another reason why dogs are way better than cats is because

When you call out to them they will come to you

But when you call out to the cat the cat won’t listen. But why i think

Dogs are better than cats is because a dog is a man/boy's best friend.

My last reason why i think dogs are better than cats is because sometimes

When you talk to your dogs they try and listen there best

Do you want to know how i know well it's simple when you talk
to them they tilt
their heads that's how you know it's trying to listen to you

My conclusion: well my conclusion is yes i think that it is time to make
a change we should all have dogs instead of cats because they
